I had an appointment for an eye exam right when this happened, and it was cancelled obv. My prescription is expired, and I was on my last pair of contacts. After my appointment was cancelled, my son broke my glasses. So i was on one pair of contacts for who knows how long. I emailed the last place i had an exam, which is a mom and pop in center city, and he replied within 10 minutes and said he would make my prescription look current through June. This is why you should go to mom and pop stores.

I stocked up on trials for contacts at a few different places online, and then started looking for glasses. Since i hope to renew my prescription as soon as this is over, I only wanted a cheap pair of glasses for when i take my contacts out at the end of the day. 39dollarglasses.com was awesome. I bought two pair (one sunglasses) for $87 including shipping. When i can get an exam they'll be my backup pairs.
