they are pretty quiet. my model has bands that are attached to it and can work out the arms, upper back and shoulders a bit too, while working.

it's also really quiet. so why would you want to waste time on your lunch break hitting the treadmill, when you can go to mcdonalds instead and help the economy during these tough times?

Showered, put on deodorant, and I'm wearing khaki shorts... dressing like I'm going to BSG Day feel like dressing up now

they're really comfy and super durable. my first pair that i got like 4 years ago just got a hole in them. They're expensive but totally worth it.

In a sign of continued lowering of standards though, I've taken to putting on running socks in the morning. The only times I get out are to run (most every day) and to get food (not nearly as much). I usually don't run until the evening which means I'm rolling the dice as to whether I'm going to show up in public with the short socks and jeans look, which is not great. But the satisfaction of completing the day having only worn one pair of socks is some compensation. I admit I've also attacked this problem by running in in dress(ier) socks.

I have been wearing Balegas to work for years. I always look for new colors at race expos.

This J. Peterman on the run pitch worked for me. Ordering some now.

I just bought new socks yesterday! It was at Target, so they're probably crap.

I threw away the packaging already, but I think they were Goodfellow.

A few years ago, I bought "Thirty 48" no show socks from Amazon and they were really great. Lasted a long time. When they finally fell apart I ordered them again, and they fell apart within 6 months.

Socks suck in general. All too tight these days.

Best "cheap" socks I ever owned were Kodiak brand. Bought them years ago before KMart closed almost everywhere.

socks... necessary evil. don't like em but i'll destroy a pair of sneakers or shoes in a week without them.

Now that I've done it I don't ever want to wear sandals without socks again. Since I became AARP eligible I think I'm allowed to.
