She said she wanted to keep them at work and that she pays $10-15, so this has to be part time VS a full time payoff because I do not see $1600 - 2400 a month coming through in unemployment (through June). 30 hours @ 10 would still pull $1200. What am I missing?

I think what you're missing is that she's full of it.

they'd make around 350 to 400 a week off of KY unemployment and then the 600 extra pushes them from anywhere 900 to 1000 a week in benefits. so they'd make nearly 4k a month on unemployment. They were not making anywhere near that much at a coffee shop. (i based mine off of 15 an hour and not 10 an hour). 10 an hour would be even higher than what they'd make.
of course they now have to pay for their own insurance(if they even got health insurance).
edit: i've brought this up several times in this thread or the covid thread. PA for example you will be gauranteed full wages or even more up to ~55k gross salary. If you make less than 55k then it probably makes more sense to collect unemployment than go back to work. its also part of the comment about these places opening up when its more beneficial for the employees to stay on the sidelines and collect unemployment.
