So, the feds tell them to request an amount, then over allocate to red states and under allocate to blue, and this is somehow defensible because "maybe" the feds are considering proportion? When they've shown no ability to consider...well...any fucking thing of the sort?

Interesting take. Or, the simplest conclusion is correct. Trump is taking care of those that "take care" of him.

Fauci predicts up to 200,000 U.S. deaths as Trump weighs adjusting coronavirus guidelines.

I think the adjustments suggested recently are faulty

How he is all over the place all the time? Not serious at all. Very serious. Not serious I want the country opened on easter. Now guidelines stay in place until April 30th.

He also brought up his ammunition lie for some reason.

My party should not have nominated a narcissistic charlatan to be President, and the country should not have elected him, but these things happened. If it takes some obsequiousness publicly for them to be listened to privately, bless them for being able to stomach it, and thankfully they appear to have his ear at the moment (at least most of the time).

It is amazing to look back and see that Trump bullied his way to the nomination as the party cowered. Someone, anyone with an actual backbone could have stepped up to stop the circus. I am not sure how this even happened.

Of course the obedience now is fully understandable in retrospect

Already tired of Trump calling himself a wartime president and saying that we are fighting a war. If he's a wartime president, then he's Neville Chamberlain. He appeased the enemy by ignoring the signs of danger and the potential for disaster. He watched the power of the enemy grow and refused to act.

But even before that he cut off his intel on viral threats by pulling epidemiologists out of China and closing the white house pandemic office. He let the virus walk right up to our house, walk through the front door, ignored it killing the inhabitants, and then shut the door and declared victory while the virus was still killing people. And to this day we still aren't making ventilators and masks like a 1st world country should in this situation, all because he refuses to do what's needed.

He's being too hard on you individually, but he is right that Trump is the culmination of a deliberate and long-term effort from the GOP. Your party should burn to the ground for it because Trump's a much bigger threat to our democratic process than anything we've ever faced outside of the civil war, imho

Rep. Mark Meadows will resign from Congress on Monday as he prepares to officially become White House chief of staff, an aide to the North Carolina congressman told CNN. Meadows' resignation is expected to be effective at 5 p.m. ET, the aide said.

The payment for his work during the impeachment hearings is now complete.
