She's just a mouthpiece now. At least in today's interview on MtP.

Maybe she was a spinner in her day now she's just a spin doctor.

I guess people in blue states should just be prepared to have less federal support. More ppl will die bc the president hates democrats and wants to punish them

Have any GOP congress members from MI, CA, NY, etc said anything?

Biden was asked by Chuck Todd if there's blood on Trump's hands. He responded: "I think that's a little too harsh."

Again, trump is not sending supplies to blue states and Biden is refusing to even engage. It's embarrassing

Easy Biden commercial: quick clip, Trump quote.

*Fauci saying something*

“I don’t take any responsibility at all”

*Doctors and nurses saying they need PPE*

“I don’t take any responsibility at all.”

*News report showing caskets*

“I don’t take any responsibility at all.”

Any proof for this assertion? I haven't found any. Not that I put it past him or the administration.

There aren't enough supplies anyway so if the entire country needs 500k ventilators or whatever the number and the government Has 200k then people are going to die whether it's New York or Florida or Louisiana.

Not surprising he would act like this with the power he has to hand out limited supplies.

What pac said. Also:
MA received 17% of requested medical supplies from the Trump admin. ME: 5%. CO: 1 day's worth.

FL got everything they requested. + an identical shipment the next week. oh, and a 3rd is on the way.

Re: biden, I'm talking about that quote specifically. I know the campaign is putting out ads highlighting trump's incompetence on this, but when he's asked these questions by reporters he has to have a better response. You can't "take on" trump by demuring on how badly he's fucking this up. Of course he has blood on his hand! What a confusing message to have ads highlighting trump fucking up and then answering it in person this way

I'm in no way trying to defend Trump or the response of his team. There's a huge leap here from his bluster to providing/denying help and supplies to states along party lines. Even if one takes him at his word "don't call" is a far cry from "deny assistance".

I mean....the question to me is whether you want Fauci and Birx to have any say at all (with some degree of praise to Trump) or you want the whole response turned over to Jared and Ivanka. Since we are still in the saving actual lives portion, I think I'm ok with the occasional and completely unwarranted genuflect.

Competent management and logistics could ensure those 200k are sent to areas that need it most as the curve will be peaking at different times in different regions. It's malpractice what is happening right now

I really don't care what percentage of request they received. Give me a proportional allotment based on population and outbreak. For example, in your link Maine requested 500,000 N95s while Florida requested 180,000. Doesn't seem out of line to me that Florida received theirs.

As for Biden your expectations are off IMO for someone who is only a candidate at this time. Ranting about the blood on the president's hand might invigorate a few but it would alienate a great deal more. I listened to the whole interview while finishing breakfast. It was fine.

So you are saying that 25000 for ME is good and if there are 3 identical shipments to Florida totaling 540k where they ask for 180k is equatable? I'm just playing with numbers.

Florida has roughly 20 times the population and 20 times the cases as Maine. Florida also has multiple population centers where faster spread is more likely. Not saying 25,000 for Maine is good but Florida's allocation is defensible.
