Goes without saying that the racists/fascists/nativists/morons masquerading as Republicans in 2020 have no good plans or ideas.

Obamacare is better. M4A is better. Cuba is better. So yeah, Bernie >Trump.

But none of it is optimum or remotely in keeping with fundamental conservative principles. I can't be for Bernie over Biden, Pete, Amy, Booker, etc because he is further from the center. I'm only for Bernie if he is running against Trump.

This town hall is what trump will do instead of a debate. Guarantee it.
On a scale of 1 to Chris Brown, how pissed is he?

Yes. If she was Chuck Warren she’d be the front runner.

Yeah. Sanders needs to be way better on that this time around when he loses. So that's a good sign.

Maybe werthless mentioned this, but in my mind the worst thing about the republican party is how their electoral strategy is based on voter suppression.

I mean he said that weeks ago. He was the only person to say it. I'd ask Biden if he believes that's how it should be.

I'd be interested in supporting evidence for that.

Here are the top drug exporting countries. The top 4 and 8 of the top 10 are in Europe.

I know the US has almost half of the world's drug market, so they do spend a ton of money on R&D, but I also remember that Switzerland and Sweden are among the most innovative with this stuff. I remember reading about it 5 years or so ago. Switzerland was ranked #1 in innovation in the report I saw. And Sweden is up there. Anyway, my point was that it's not just the US driving innovation. We innovate because we spend money on it and we spend money on it because we use a lot of drugs, like A LOT of drugs. And Switzerland and Sweden spend money on it because they like selling drugs to us.

Maddow's interview with Warren tonight was great. The predictable reaction of the Bernie Bros was on point. The cult of Bernie is just as bad as the cult of Trump.

It's so goddamn dumb how slow California counts its votes. And it's not like it has some amazing turnout rates to justify their system.

Everyone else is just about done from Tuesday, and California is at about 60%.

In about as non trolling of a stance as I can take, I think an important part of democratic responsiveness is being able to tell the people who voted relatively quickly after the election what the result was (barring like a 0.1% margin). This seems particularly important in a sequential primary. Obviously the margin is large enough that Bernie has won, but whether he wins by 5% or 10% or 15% has a massive impact on the viability of the entire Democratic campaign. And it's like, eh, maybe we'll know sometime next week.

In the general election, the state where this could be a huge issue is Arizona. Which is obviously run by Republicans, so it's not a partisan thing.

I just don't fucking get setting up or advocating for a system like this. Unless the election is well inside a point, you should be able to know who won it when you're having your morning coffee the next day. Or at least maybe by the time you hit happy hour on Friday?

Math is hard.

The original poster's tweets are (now?) protected, but I give her credit for adding, "I know, I'm bad at math" to her profile. I'd respect Williams more if he'd do the same.
