Yeh, that's what I mean when I say this situation has such potential for abuse. Guarantee some people are taking notes as to how we react to this whole thing. Trump will try to take advantage of the situation to make money because that's all he ever does. It's all he cares about.

My one hope is that this will finally expose the fact that he has no clothes to his supporters, but I think it would need to get much worse for that to happen and I don't really wnat that part of it.

On a personal note, we've been told we can come back to Beijing, but we have to be quarantined in a hotel for 2 weeks. Two weeks in a small room in a hotel with 2 kids while also trying to work full time online with almost certainly crappy internet. Yeah!

Princeton
Two #PrincetonU staff members are currently under self-quarantine as a result of possible exposure to #COVID19 at an off-campus gathering. These staff members are being tested and we expect results in coming days.

My company has purchased additional CAG license so that all non branch employees can work remotely and is setting up soft phones so call center folks can work remotely as well. Also, WebEx is allowing their customers to increase user licenses up to 100% above their current count at no additional charge for at leas the next 90 days.

Unionville high school is closing next week for a "deep cleaning" not sure for how long.

We were told Sunday that someone in my office has it, but they haven't been to the office in 3 weeks and evidence points to that person being infected sometime after the last time they were in the office.

Yesterday we got an email that someone in the office attended the church service with the infected priest and had contact with him and that 6 other people went to a business meeting with someone who was later found to be infected.

So I'm working from home the rest of the week and so are maybe half my colleagues. Pretty much everyone with small kids.

Waiting for the schools to shut down, that's probably the next thing to happen.

Looks like my college is gonna tell the students not to come back from spring break, and that today might be my last day in the office. At this point just praying for a few days at home before my kids' schools close.

a tad shocking that all 12 PA cases were spread from outside the area, not community spread. leads me to believe that we are a bit behind the curve in getting tests back .

Hospitals are starting to tell our company that no reps allowed unless the OR director and the utilizing surgeon says it's necessary. No new business, no new cold calls.

My company internally just sent out some bullshit saying we are monitoring and prepared to institute whatever measures necessary.

My company is kind of dragging their feet now and it's pissing a lot of people off. Nobody has answered my question from 5:30 last night. Nobody has to be physically here to work. The few people that had desktops were given laptops. I just don't see the gains we will see from staying here too long

You really need leadership at times like this and we're not seeing anything. They haven't made a statement on for a couple weeks now

MIT and Harvard are closing the schools and asking the kids not to return after spring break. Harvard has asked students not to come back to campus and take all classes online.

From a virtual town hall with an infectious disease DR says this disease is doubling infected individuals every 4 days.
It is rapid progression and there will be a significant impact to the US within the coming days.

Spent the morning working on preparing the office for what happens next and how to get telework approved for all staff. We are equipped for it better then most of the work at the rest of my company since we are already using Teams and Office 365 to work globally.
