This isn't just Nixon level crimes, though. The collusion with foreign governments is probably as extensive as Seth Abramson has reported. That plus the decades of money laundering. You can't let this guy walk.

We are sending 2k troops to Saudi to protect against Iran. This after we are letting allies who are helping us against Iranian influence in the area get slaughtered.

This guys are so clearly corrupt.

Sondland got $$$, he was in this for the legitimization of new $ becoming an institution. He might value the goal he was shooting for more. Then again I have heard him called mini-Trump as well WRT being brash, and bullying.

The White House tried to stop Yovanovitch from testifying this morning. She told the committee that the state dept is being hollowed out from within and to expect many more resignations.

Maybe he is trying to save his own ass? I guess that we would have heard of a deal being made or something but I don't know. He probably never expected to be caught and maybe he is now circling his wagon.

Don't think anyone is worried about saving their ass. Any accountability will be minor or they will be pardoned.

You have to put this in perspective. They're only destroying our democracy. It's not like they acted inappropriately by today's societal norms 30 years ago and need to be held accountable.
Drunk and stupid is no way to be remembered but it is an easy way to forget.

I mean I'm pretty optimisic that even the Trump loyalists will end up being good witnesses because they will absolutely get tripped up by questioning.
