Another whistleblower complaint has been lodged, this time alleging that there were "inappropriate efforts to influence" the mandatory audit of the Trump and Vice President Mike Pence's tax returns by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

Privately, the president had often talked about fortifying a border wall with a water-filled trench, stocked with snakes or alligators, prompting aides to seek a cost estimate. He wanted the wall electrified, with spikes on top that could pierce human flesh. After publicly suggesting that soldiers shoot migrants if they threw rocks, the president backed off when his staff told him that was illegal. But later in a meeting, aides recalled, he suggested that they shoot migrants in the legs to slow them down. That’s not allowed either, they told him.

Pompeo admits being on call 10 days after dodging the question and months after he’s tried to cover this all up (and hours after an IG is coming forward in State to likely communicate that employees have been told not to cooperate with congress).

Trump actually has a pretty easy path to dump all of this on Pompeo. He was on call and can easily have blamed thrown towards him.
On a scale of 1 to Chris Brown, how pissed is he?

even for trump he's become more unhinged than usual. he doesn't have fox or drudge in his corner anymore, he's got to sense people abandoning him. the last couple of days has been a desperate plea for support... and he's not getting it. i gotta think there is a possibility before christmas, he slams the front door of the white house, goes on one final incoherent rant and gives everyone the finger.

I could see him walking away. He has so many easy talking points that he could drop that his moronic base would lap up and actually admire him for. He’ll call it a retirement instead of a resignation.

-I got so much done in three years that I don’t see a need to stay in office
-I’ve sacrificed so much by serving my country in the past three years; I’ve done enough time
-Who would want to be in “the swamp” of DC? I won’t have to deal with the nasty democrats and unfair media anymore
-I can do more for the people if I focus on businesses instead of the presidency

And then I can hear from an uncle at a holiday party about how Trump fixed everything, yet was simultaneously so disgusted with how broken everything was that he retired and how America would have been perfect if we got eight years of that dipshit.
