Lawyers for the House of Representatives revealed on Monday that they have reason to believe that the grand-jury redactions in special counsel Robert Mueller’s report show that President Donald Trump lied about his knowledge of his campaign’s contacts with WikiLeaks.

It is going to be exhausting to get the the finish line.

I know it is what he is supposed to say but this line from Sekulow cracked me up:

In a text message to POLITICO, Jay Sekulow, Trump’s personal attorney, said the suggestion that Trump lied to Mueller’s investigators is “absurd.”

As if Trump hasn't provably lied thousands of times over the past three years (probably millions of times over his lifetime).

cnbc has a poll out this morning with a 37 percent job approval rating for the president. they use the same firm as NBC/WSJ so it could be a thing or just a tad of an outlier. lets hope for the best.

So if the so-called “Whistleblower” has all second hand information, and almost everything he has said about my “perfect” call with the Ukrainian President is wrong (much to the embarrassment of Pelosi & Schiff), why aren’t we entitled to interview & learn everything about........the Whistleblower, and also the person who gave all of the false information to him. This is simply about a phone conversation that could not have been nicer, warmer, or better. No pressure at all (as confirmed by Ukrainian Pres.). It is just another Democrat Hoax!

But...the White House gave us the information?

That is the funniest part. The transcript (that Trump ordered declassified and released) corroborates everything that the whistleblower reported. Also, as the ICIG's statement pointed out yesterday, the whistleblower reported both first-hand and second-hand information.

this is their play, to make it a 'witch-hunt' that they won't be a party to. it's their only shot.

I think I've decided that Lindsey Graham is a shadow. He is not his own thing, he only exists as a complement to someone else. Like a parasite his dependency eventually overwhelms him. So the short road from John McCain empowered Trump critic to Trump doormat might be easier to understand in this context.

And won’t produce documents. As predicted.

These matters will have to be adjudicated in court and will most likely go all the way to the SCOTUS. If the SCOTUS holds in favor of the Trump administration our system of government will effectively be at an end since there will be no mechanism left to compel the Executive branch to comply with the law.
