We really need a high profile democrat to speak and tweet on his level. Maybe that's the way to reach anyone from the base who could be swayed.

It's amazing that none of these people have learned from there Mistakes over the weekend of how the talking points in the memo, which was circulated to the Democrats and then to the media, doesn't hold up. The fact in the realities of the situation just seem like something they are oblivious to. Harris was on NPR this morning giving the same spiel that didn't work over the weekend by other surrogates. and when pressed all he could say was the same things over and over again like Biden Biden Biden. He also doesn't seem to grasp that what the whistleblower said is substantiated in the memo circulated that was supposed to prove Trump's innocent.

We misunderstand apparently that that discussion was not about the bidens, even though he wants them investigated per the talking point memo perscription, and the call was all about crowdstrike. I'm not sure if he's elected officials understand that their constituents actually are functioning humans.

One final thought is that all this talk about what Hunter Biden was and was not qualified for is ironic given that Donald was being paid as a toddler by his father some huge amount of money. What was it a hundred thousand a year back in the 50s?

And we misunderstand that the talk track is not targeted towards anyone with a conflicting opinion, but to their own team- just keep repeating the malarachy enough times until it starts making sense to the base so they will still be steadfast in their support.

A lot of the Democratic establishment has figured out what the Republicans realized during the Obama years: it is much easier to be a permanent opposition party than it is to actually govern. Trump is a boon for centrist congressional Democrats, since he gives them something tangible to be against without actually having to talk about policy.

I honestly think Trumpism is the GOP's only path now. It was always a weirdly cobbled together coalition, and now they've gone three years pushing all in on the crazy.

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis) and Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) sent a letter late last week to the Justice Department asking for an investigation into any ties between Hillary Clinton and Ukraine.

Johnson has also called for an investigation into Biden, including suggesting that a Senate investigation would be "completely appropriate."
