Uber I scheduled last night for 6:40 this morning was 35 minutes early. Not ideal

that's wack. the one time i did a pre-schedule lyft for early in the AM i did it to make sure they'd have someone available at that hour. but the driver told me that there was no advance notice at all- the ride popped up on his screen just before he picked me up as a normal real-time request.

Interesting. I talked to my Uber driver about it last time I scheduled and he said the night before he tries to pick out the scheduled ones going to the airport.

so if he picked out the request the night before, why the @#$% was he so early? Did you make him wait?

probably not enough time to get another ride/fare between the previous pickup and the scheduled one and just arrived early and hoping to get this ride out of the way earlier. time is money or more properly stated wasted time is lost money for these drivers.

I've been driving for Lyft recently. Not much...just something to do to keep me from crying into my pillow...but I can confirm that you can go into the "Scheduled Pickups" portion of the app and claim one. However, I think that if nobody does claims one then it goes to a driver that is out and about around the scheduled time. I have been out driving and had a scheduled request pop up in my queue.

Maybe. Seems very weird to me however, that she is dead and he is alive. Always raises a red flag. Maybe nothing.

the guy is probably in his mid 80's, her being considered "older" mid 60's at least. she's probably the one who put up the fight.

seen this situation way too many times here in the wealthy part of phx/pv where some grifter gains the trust of some elderly couple only to find some way to swindle or rob them somehow and things escalate.
