This attitude that it would accomplish nothing is part of the problem
It would establish that dems believe the president is a criminal. It would massively energize the base and especially younger voters who feel abandoned by dem leadership. It is the morally right thing to do, politics be damned
Nixon's approval ratings were p decent when impeachment proceedings began. Didn't start to crater until the impeachment process was established. Dems in the house have to make the case

I have no idea what he is talking about when he repeats again and again that Muller corrected his position.
Trump is referring to Mueller initially answering Ted Lieu that the OLC policy is the reason why they didn't make a decision on indicting for obstruction. Mueller began the House session by walking that back a bit.

Nonsense, if the Republicans controlled the Senate in 1974 Nixon would have never been impeached in the first place.
Impeachment by the House would be an absolutely idiotic move for the Dems considering it would not lead to Trump's removal from power.
