I played disc golf and then went to Shady Maple for the first time, believe it or not. I felt like Joey Chestnut.

I google mapped directions from my house to the address where the Manson murders occurred... no reason really...

Well, I had three plates of food and two slice of pie. My body is still coursing with the sugar overload of the heath bar coffee and shoofly pie. I had to take a nap afterwards... so I think I did it right.

The highlights for me were the fried chicken, roast beef, sweet potato casserole, and the hamballs, in fact. A quick note about the hamballs. It sounds and maybe looks disgusting, but my morbid curiosity won out, and I'm glad it did. I also had brisket, fried fish, pulled pork, and a mess of vegetables. Everything was good to great. $15 for lunch too!

Just heard that Buddy Ebsen, the actor that played Jeb Clampet of the Beverly Hillbillies, started his career as a dancer. It came up in the hoopla around The Wizard of Oz, where he was to play the Tin Man, but the aluminum dust in the makeup made him violently ill. I am just having a hard time wrapping my head around him as a dancer due to that Jeb imprint in my mind.

don't know if it still applies, but checkout if coinstar still has the option to receive your cash via gift cards and free of processing fees.

yeah, *some* coinstars will give you an Amazon gift card at face value. check before you dump.

That's still an effective 5% for me, since when I use an amazon gift card I don't get the 5% rebate from my amazon prime visa. So I have a *lot* of change here and I'm trying to figure out what to do with it.

sounds like you guys need to get some of that magic finger massage going with your coin haul. I suspect the establishments still offering magic finger massages would take payment for lodging in coins.

My bank does if you have an account there.

Or you could go to a store with self check out and just dump a bunch of coins into the little slot.

Woke up to a noise coming from my spare bedroom/home office. It was my paper shredder, which I guess had accumulated enough dust to trigger the sensor. It was really hot to the touch so I wonder if it could've eventually caused a fire. Will definitely be leaving it off/unplugged from now on.
Another day, another box of stolen pens.
