I'm very auditory. I learn best by listening and have trouble sometimes when there's lots of noise. I used to get headaches on the school bus as a kid. It's very hard for me to tune out sounds at times. Most people are more visual learners. You're probably one of those.

I was just eating lunch at Taco Bell, and they had Dr. Oz on the TV with the sound on. The segment was about keeping toilet seats clean and things you can catch from a toilet seat. I wasn't paying a whole lot of attention, but at one point they said something about some such thing being the number one cause of rectal bleeding. Really not something you're looking to hear during any meal, but the last thing you want to hear when eating Taco Bell.

I was going to post a picture for you TV, but everything is really disturbing.

In other news, I kind of worried about TV because whatever he is searching is driving monocle ads for him.

Is it common to have a television in a fast food place? I always figured between the arresting visual aesthetic and complete disregard for cleanliness that they wanted you out of there ASAP.

i've never met anyone that needed to feel in control of every situation as my mother-in-law. Most recent example: she basically told me she'd bring the chicken i'm going to grill at a bbq at our house. i don't even know if i'm grilling chicken yet

I'm not sure if swishes message is related to the mother-in-law quandary or if it's just random. If it's related to the mother-in-law, it would take me to be a special scenario for that to come together.

Sounds similar to my MIL, but mine is less of a control situation. For example, my MIL will go grocery shopping and then bring a ton of perishables when she visits us. Um, lady, we already stocked up on food because, you know, we had guests coming.

She does that too. She also attaches sentimentality to everything and won’t get rid of anything so she’ll come over with 15 sherry glasses.

Lol. We have a huge collection of mugs and travel mugs, all from her. I don't get it.

If she’s like mine she has anxiety about throwing anything out but doesn’t realize that’s what we’ll do with it. She thought when we moved into our house it was her opportunity to just unload everything that was in her attic
