The saying that sex is better with feelings is very true for us. We connect in a way that we didn’t with people when we were single and wouldn’t with this situation. This would just be adventurous carnal fun in a pretty controlled environment.

I can understand the allure of being with another woman, but I don’t understand the allure of having another dude bone my wife.

I dunno man, make sure you consider EVERYTHING before you jump into something like that. What are the rules. Is this a one off or an ongoing thing, if it’s ongoing it’s all four of you or if you and coworker are on a work trip are you down to clown or do you need permission and conversely if you and her are on a work trip and wifey and her husband are home do they need permission.

You said your wife has been resistant in the past to the idea, if you can change her mind and get her to agree do you feel certain that it’s something she wants or is it something she will do because you want to and what would the fallout of that be? In a 1:1 relationship if you want to do something physically and your partner doesn’t and they do it to for you, that’s one thing and could harbor some resentment potentially. Introducing new partners is upping the difficulty significantly. At the end of the day, I’d say if you feel like you have to convince her to do it, then don’t, it Might get you what you want in the short therm, but if she’s not into it, it will lead to resentment and potentially worse in the long run.

Also, let's say your wife says “No effing way”. What is she going to be thinking/feeling when you’re hanging out with this woman at work, happy hours, on business trips, etc? I mean, she would already know you’re dtf her. She’d have to wonder.

Second, I concur with Bill's and Slowhand's thoughts. I'd say as tempting as it is, you probably need to hold off unless your wife is completely on board and is super enthusiastic about the idea. Tread lightly, proceed with caution, keep your head on a swivel. I hope it works out for you

I dont disagree with this. I think one tact to take is just making her (Mrs. Phred) aware that the offer was made. At least that way he's been transparent about it
