My parents vote every election and will vote for Biden. Guessing a lot of our parents are similar.

Cohen was a top tier for Obama and Clinton as well. They did OK in Dem primaries.

I think it’s more important to get people who will vote down-ticket D to the polls. I'd prefer if the disaffected Republican voters stay home rather than come out to vote D for the president and R for everything else. An uninspiring candidate on the left probably hurts down-ticket races in blue states and that’s a pretty big problem.

We can worry about non-existential matters, such as the composition of Congress, in future elections when Trump isn't the GOP's nominee for POTUS.

Bottomline is that Biden v. Trump is a slam dunk. No other Dem candidate has better odds of winning head-to-head.

His moment was 2016, and he had a family tragedy which made it impossible.

In 2020 that Anita Hill history is going to be death for him.

Too early to tell but I honestly think it will be Sanders this time around, for better or for worse.

If it is sanders I will be struggling to figure out what to do with my vote. Bernie or Sarah, I hate them equally. I'll need a third party option.

Think Sanders has a ceiling that isn't high enough to win the primary.

There is no way in hell that Sanders wins the nomination. If it's not Biden (it will be Joe though) it will be one of the youngins.

it's waaayyyy too early to say who it's going to be. Someone will start to gather momentum months from now and it's really hard to know who that will be this far out.

This far out last time I said it would be clinton and Christie and I was told I was insane. If not for Trump, I think that's who we would have gotten. If not for Manafort, Christie would have at least been VP.

A federal judge plans to release Christopher Hasson because it is a weapon possession case, not a crime. The government keeps the weapons, except they 'can't find a few of them.' WTF all around.

My Parents are also Democrats and did not vote for Hillary in '16 (Mom voted Trump because she likes reality TV too much and my Dad voted for Gary Johnson for reasons I can't quite fathom) They will both would 100% vote for Biden as well.

We're very clannish, you know. We have a secret handshake and newsletter (it's in paper form; we can't figure out this whole interwebs thing). Once we spread the word around about what we old, white people are supposed to do, we just do it without thinking anything more about it. The only reason Obama was elected (twice) was the mimeograph machine broke down.

You're right, we shouldn't talk about any general demographic preferences at all because when we say black people vote democratic we definitely mean 100% all of them for sure.

At least Trump said he assumed some were good people when speaking of the Mexicans.
