This uh, kind of bolsters my point?

That was my intent.

Eric Tucker

(AP) A federal prosecutor says a grand jury that was involved in special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia investigation is "continuing robustly." David Goodhand made the revelation Wednesday during a court hearing over whether court filings in the Mueller probe should be unsealed

As a guy who practices in this field, I'd say that pretty much everything about the Trump Foundation violates federal tax law and probably rises to the level of fraud.

In a major policy shift for the world’s biggest social media network, Facebook banned white nationalism and white separatism on its platform Tuesday. Facebook will also begin directing users who try to post content associated with those ideologies to a nonprofit that helps people leave hate groups, Motherboard has learned.

Can't wait to some of the responses to this from a few Congressional jackasses.

The US Air Force said Wednesday that it needs nearly $5 billion in additional funding to help rebuild two bases damaged by hurricanes and floods. "We desperately need the supplemental funding to recover from the natural disasters that hammered Tyndall and Offutt," Air Force Secretary Heather Wilson said at a speech at the Heritage Foundation Wednesday, referring to installations in Florida and Nebraska that were damaged by a hurricane and flooding. Tyndall Air Force Base, located just east of Panama City, Florida, was badly damaged by Hurricane Michael in October of last year, and Offutt Air Force Base, just south of Omaha in Nebraska, was flooded earlier this month. The Air Force said it requires $1.2 billion in additional supplemental funding in fiscal year 2019 and $3.7B in fiscal year 2020/2021 to help rebuild the two bases.

Anybody know where the USAF can find $1.2 billion? Maybe hijack the Brinks truck on the way to the border with a billion of the military's money?

Tyndall is in bad shape. They already had to transfer their F-22 squadron to Englin due to the damage from Michael. The base repairs current funding runs out on May 1st.

Maryland attorney Rashad James, who happens to be black, was packing up his things after a day at Harford County District Court when he says a sheriff's deputy detained him, thinking James was just pretending to be a lawyer. The deputy called the attorney by his client's name, and when James informed the deputy that he was in fact the attorney, the deputy didn't believe him. Even after Rashad showed him ID, the deputy did not believe him

The sad, sad story of lawyering while being black. Come on America, we are better then this.

FWIW - I saw a ticker that said FaceBook is dumping and banning white nationalist content.

Systemic racism/racial oppression has been built into our government and society since day 1. We really aren't better than that.

Mo Brooks quoted Mein Kampf on the House floor and talked about the 'Big Lie' that the Jewish people perpetuate (and replaced the Jews for Dems)

I'm waiting for the sanction vote.

How does one get up in the morning and think to oneself "You know, today would be a good day to read Mein Kampf to Congress"?

Theresa May offering to resign if a Brexit deal passes parliament is one of the saddest and funniest things to happen in politics this year.
