The image that immediately comes to mind when I hear the name is from like 30 years where it was just a humanoid with a long coat and big hat covering their face, so I guess I just went ahead and associated it with a dude, and she's been a dude ever since.

The woman had lipstick since the Commodore 64.

Really weird night last night. Was feeling totally normal throughout the evening, sitting up, getting down, nothing wrong. Had 2 beers (old Yuenglings) during the Bucks-Raptors game, watched some of Kimmel for a few minutes, then got up and just started feeling so dizzy. Threw up multiple times, was up til about 2:00, couldn't lie down due to dizziness. No idea what caused it. Hope I don't die. Happy Friday everyone!

I have no real idea. I've been having some weird dull pains in my head, I've chalked it up to a really bad allergy year. Yesterday was the first time I took a 180mg Allegra style pill, though that was at 7 AM. I've thrown up before mixing that with orange juice, but that was when I was younger and I didn't know that could cause stomach issues. Ate dinner around 8 PM (chicken), it started happening around 11:30-11:40 after I finished that second beer. But it's been in the fridge since March, I doubt it could have been that. Must have just been the wrong mix of stuff. Maybe it was the chicken!

I doubt it was the beer. You usually have at least 6 months if it is kept cold the whole time. Now, if the place you got the beer from got it cold and let it get warm that may be a different story

I doubt it was the beer. You usually have at least 6 months if it is kept cold the whole time. Now, if the place you got the beer from got it cold and let it get warm that may be a different story

My understanding is the beer doesn't really go bad in the sense that it might cause stomach problems. Indeed, one reason people drink beer is because it's much more likely to be safe to drink that water. Alcohol (and hops) are pretty effective at killing micro organisms. The 6 month thing has more to do with the hops going skunky, which might have an unpleasant taste, but isn't going to make you sick. Some high-gravity beers are considered even better aged. (I've got two bottles of DFH 120 I'm keeping around for the purpose.)

Chicken is a likely culprit. Or it could have been a virus. Flu for example comes on pretty suddenly. If you're still feeling funky, you might want to check that you don't have a fever.

There aren't many food spoilage problems that will hit you in 3 or 4 hours, so I doubt it was the chicken. Did you have it with leftover rice or pasta? There's a pretty nasty bug that will grow pretty fast in rice or pasta that will hit you quick.

My guess is the flu. Have you ever had a migraine? The headache followed by nausea sounds like migraine symptoms. But some kind of virus unrelated to the food is most likely.

Chicken was with egg wash, bread crumbs/shredded parm, arugula, potatoes. My girlfriend ate the same dinner though and had no ill effects. I'm not sure I know what a migraine feels like. I am on anti-seizure medication, as I've had two seizures in my life. Not feeling a fever or flu-like symptoms today. It's a mystery.

I think allergies can manifest in all kinds of ways, but it sounds to me like a short-term virus. If the headache wasn't really bad, then I doubt it would have caused nausea and is unlikely to be a migraine. If you've been on the same medication for a long time and you feel better now, then I think the medication is also unlikely. I'm going with my first impulse, which was virus.

That will be $275. I do not take whatever insurance you have.

CFP i had the same thing happen to me. Headachey and groggy feelings that I chalked up to allergy/sinus stuff. I had a routine work day, ate chicken for dinner, and went to bed feeling migrainey and internally pressurized in the head. I even took a pharmaceutical to help which I never do.
