Amazing to me how many people in my neighborhood don't have trash cans. Just lob a bag on the sidewalk and walk away I guess. I don't live in Manayunk with a bunch of young kids, don't live in an impoverished part of the city where a trash can may literally not be affordable, just good ol' East Falls. Not sure what the deal is.

HGTV bought the brady bunch house and renovated the interior to emulate the home as it was seen on the show. They had to add a second floor and a total of 2000 sf. They emulated all the inside & outside furnishings and accessories too.

i decided to check out a few houses for sale in this one historic district on my way home yesterday. there was this house i was looking at over a year ago that needed some minor remodeling to bring it up to the 21st century.

whoever bought the house, did a generic remodel for a flip, albeit an extensive one. they repainted a beautiful natural brick exterior and removed any elements and style of a circa 1940's interior. 4 out of 5 times repainting a natural brick exterior is a VERY bad idea and laminating over original hardwood floors!

Today was a comedy of errors. I think i'm still in long weekend mode. Woke up late. Almost got my daughter to her friend's house too late (we take turns taking each other's kids to the bus stop so we both don't have to be late). Had to get my son to daycare, but for some reason headed to work instead. had to backtrack about 10 miles. Get to work, and realize i forgot my bag with my lunch, gym clothes and COMPUTER. Answered a couple emails at work then drove back home for my bag and then came back to work. Should have stayed in bed

My trash can would get stolen when I lived in EF. Then I painted my house number on it. It lasted a few more years before it was stolen again.

you shouldn't have done that. i only got half for a numbered trash can than i got for a blank one.

Our city provides everyone with trash and recycling cans. No need to steal!

Ambler. All set to put an offer in on a place in media and the wife balked at the last minute.

We're better off for it. This house at 40k more is 100$ cheaper a month than the house in media.
