Shows how we fetishize the rich. If I announced my 2020 candidacy no one would give a shit because I have no ability to fund it. Just because he has the bankroll to buck the two party system means we have to pay attention to this asshole? He should get a passing note on the news and when he's made the infrastructure of a campaign and seems to have a modicum of public support then maybe throw him a bone.

Saying he "overstated" it is an understatement.

Are there odds on Dan Coates getting fired? He was a pretty stark contrast to Trump fantasy world today. Russian doing back shit, NK never giving up nukes, China moves provocative, and no mention of any security threat on the southern border. Seems like he is doomed.

The conventional wisdom seems to be that Howard Schultz the Starbucks guy running for President helps Trump. But I'm not so sure. Since it's pretty clear he's running on the tax cuts will lower the deficit platform, he's likely to pull voters from Trump who like Trump's economic policies but don't like Trump. I just don't think there are that many Dems who are all that concerned about raising taxes on billionaires.

Of course, he probably does represent a lot of people who own mainstream media companies, which is why he's getting so much attention. But I would guess most of those people aren't Democrats. And there aren't enough of them to make a difference when it comes to voting.

Gabbard already lost her campaign manager. And her campaign consulting firm is dropping her. Tough luck!
