I just accidentally called the head of the Royal Welsh University of Wales. That was weird. Very friendly. Normally I am a sorry and
Goodbye hangup but that was too intriguing.

Since he was presumably Welsh, did you understand a damned word he said? Even a well educated Welshman speaks Welsh which sounds like what happens to English when it passes through a garbage disposal to me.

Enough to know what he was saying but it was a little unique. He asked basically how from my location I would have had his number without association. I didn't realize they would have 570 numbers in Wales and I hit a 4 instead of a 2 and 0 instead of a 2 and boom. I was returning a voice call and usually just call back off of memory.

I mean, the Welsh accent is somewhere between Irish and Liverpudlian. It's not like you're trying to translate some heavy Scottish/Geordie dialect.
