There's a sweet B3 & Leslie on eBay for like $3200. Local pickup only.
I’m still unemployed
as planned or were you supposed to have been back by now?

I was supposed to be back at work on January 7th. Then they told me the paperwork was hung up in HR, then on the 21st hr called me and told me they want me to come in and interview for another position, they sent me the description and it’s the job I interviewed for in December and was offered and accepted.
I didn’t get severance (I was laid off after 51 weeks, one week shy of qualifying for severance) and since the company is in Delaware I get DE unemployment which is actually less than minimum wage x 40 hours. I’ve got a decent nest egg saved up so it’s not the end of the world, but this has put me in a bad spot.

Bear spray typically contains higher levels (typically 1-2%) of major capsaicinoids (the key active ingredients) than pepper sprays intended for self-defense against human assailants (typically 0.2-1.3%).
Soren wrote:had a scare with my dogs yesterday. FedEx delivery came in, so I left them in the backyard to run around so I could bring the furniture inside. Driver left, I closed the door and went and brought the dogs in. I finished wiping the second dogs paws and look up to see that the front door wasn't closed all the way and had gotten blown open. The driver was still in the driveway so both of them ran outside to greet him.
Thank fucking Christ that one of the two got spooked when I ran out and headed back into the house. The other one took off sprinting down towards Swamp road. I went running across a busy road in the rain in slippers, lost track of her and came home to see that, again, the door hadn't been closed all the way. The dog I had gotten back in the house was freaked out by the way I ran out so he went and hid without noticing the door was open a second time. He wasn't wearing his collar, so even though he's micro-chipped it's a toss up whether or not someone would bother to take him somewhere that would check.
The other one, who had gone sprinting down the street, was eventually found by someone working at an office about 5 minutes away. She had her collar on so they called and I was able to pick her up. within 15 minutes or so of her getting out.
It sucked. My wife (and also me) is super mad about me not being more mindful of the door. I don't know what I would have done if one of them had gotten hurt/lost.
