Ms Sanders said the White House would “never tolerate a reporter placing his hands on a young woman"

That is exclusively reserved for judicial nominees and her boss.

@AHoweBlogger #SCOTUS press office says Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has been admitted to GW Hospital this morning for "observation and treatment" after falling at her office last night, fracturing three ribs on her last side.
Do you think April is too early for a Roger Dorn night?

She should have retired while Obama was President and everyone knows it.

A Republican juvenile court judge in Harris County, Texas released nearly every juvenile defendant who appeared before him the morning after he lost his re-election campaign in the US midterms. Glenn Devlin reportedly said it was “what the voters wanted” to justify his actions. After asking the offenders if they planned on killing anyone, when they responded with a negative, he is said to have let them go.

I guess this guy and Trump are cubbie mates at daycare.

Do we think that even if she retired in 2014 that McConnell would have given anyone a vote? He wouldn't have been able to say the 'election year' bullshit but I think he'd just have told Obama to fuck off.

Sorry, I meant after the 2014 elections. Probably should have retired before that, yes. But after that she was stuck...the hope was until 2017 but now...just get well plz.

Exactly. At best she would have had to retire between 2008-2009 when we would only need 3 GOP for cloture.

Cloture much? He would have held the reigns of his caucus I believe.

If there was a filibuster, Harry Reid would've taken exactly as long to get rid of the SC filibuster as McConnell did. But there probably wouldn't have been. It wasn't a problem for Sotomayor or Kagan, why would it have been for replacing Ginsburg?

Rob Porter kept his job for a year after the White House learned about his abusive past, so that argument is complete bull shit.

Georgia Republican gubernatorial candidate and Secretary of State Brian Kemp says only about 20,000 provisional ballots remain uncounted in the race. He says even if his opponent Democrat Stacey Abrams "got 100 percent of those votes, we still win."

Kemp's statement came at a news conference Thursday with outgoing Republican Gov. Nathan Deal. Kemp also announced that he was stepping down as secretary of state as of 11:59 a.m. An interim secretary will oversee the rest of the vote counting. That announcement came as a federal court hearing was being held on a lawsuit from five Georgia residents who asked a judge to block Kemp from having any further role in overseeing the election.
