For the first time I voted for one party only, Guess which one.
Teams lie, sometimes for good reasons, sometimes for bad. They do it to get an advantage while they look at the trade market or just because they can

Well your out there is Whacky Washington where in the electoral college pool scored three Colin Powell votes and one for Faith Spotted Eagle so I am guessing you are in on the Cannabis Plank Party.

I am going to keep that Holiday Inn summary from the last thread on me at all times; just in case I need a laugh.

Or canvass with him if you can't!

Just spent four hours knocking on doors with him. A bunch of Republicans plan on voting for him. He even convinced a true MAGA to support him.

Go Moz!

The sense I'm getting here in NY after talking to family, friends, etc is that Democrats are not in love with Schumer or Gillibrand as their Senators. In fact, I don't think a single person I know plans to vote for Gillibrand next Tuesday.

She really has turned off a lot of people because of what she did to Al Franken.

It won't hurt her this year but if she has plans to run for President, she might have a problem.

'what she did' was ask him to resign because he groped women and then he voluntarily resigned

she didn't make him grope women

Medicaid is on the ballot in Utah, Idaho, Nebraska and Montana.

Kansas, Florida and Georgia will expand if the Democratic candidate wins.

Arkansas and Missouri are voting on minimum wage hikes

go go go

Poll just out shows 63% of Arkansans plan to vote for the minimum wage hike. Student who works in a fast food chicken joint said his boss will lose his shit if it passes.

Not that this influenced my vote, but it will put a strain on the university student worker budget. At least as far as my department goes, we have two budget lines for student workers--one for those who qualify for federal work study, which are federal dollars, and university work study, which are university dollars. I won't have any problem with federal work study students--I have plenty of funds there. But my other budget line is pretty tight, and hours might have to be cut. However, that's not really terrible--the students will at least get the same number of dollars, they will just do it with fewer hours.

If the migrants throw rocks, I told the military to treat it as an attack akin to being fired on

Incredible. GOP I assume is talking this back? This invasion?

Me too. In fact where there was no Democrat candidate I didn't vote for anyone. Can't really remember if it's the first time since I voted primarily party in my life.

My pappy had a talk with all the grandkids as they turned 18. Reminded us that we were Democrats and he expected us to pull the Democrat lever and be done. Thought it was funny, uneducated view at the time but turns out he was probably right.

Also voted against all their constitutional amendments today.

I guess even when you're right for the wrong reason you're still right!!!

Of course he is. I look forward to his predictably snarky reply.
