I appreciate Michael Cohen's candor but Trump has spent the last 22 months proving what we all already knew - that he is a racist, misogynistic, sexual assaulting, lying POS. Nearly half the country voted for him anyway.
What a brave soul Cohen is to come out with this after turning the other way and suffering for so many years on Trump’s payroll.

I'm not naive to think that racism wasn't still a problem. But I didn't think we'd have a blatantly racist President whose behavior is at the very least tolerated by a lot of people in this country.
It just feels like we've taken 50 steps back.
That right to vote's been actively suppressed from the start.
The Presidency has obviously gone backwards. The only other change is some people feel empowered to show their true self. They felt the same before Trump and will feel the same after.

Many LGBT activists, who fear violent attacks from police and members of the public, have either fled their area or remain shut in their homes.
“Every gay person is living in fear. Even the parents of gay children are also living in great fear,” said Geofrey Mashala, a Tanzanian LGBT activist now living in California.
Erin Kilbride, media and visibility coordinator for the human rights group Front Line Defenders, said violence by police is common. Of 80 LGBT people and sex workers Kilbride interviewed over the summer, all but two said they had been sexually assaulted or raped by police in custody. One female sex worker told Front Line Defenders she had been forced by police to crawl through sewage in Mwanza.
Gay male sex is punishable by up to 30 years in jail, a legacy of British colonial-era laws. Over recent years, a crackdown on LGBT communities has led to the closure of organisations supporting gay people, and a ban on the distribution of lubricants through HIV programmes. Last year, the Tanzanian president, John Magufuli, said “even cows” disapprove of homosexuality.
