Don't know what it all means but he will be the only R they send back to Washington.

Dems can win in Iowa it appears.

Given the gerrymandering and the fact that it was a mid-term and the voter suppression, I'm pretty happy with the result so far.

And about Walker, maybe I'm wrong. I did a quick and dirty count of what's left and I noticed that a few counties don't have results at all yet. I assumed they were red areas, but a few of them are surrounded by light blue areas, so maybe Evers can hold on. I guess it will be close. Fingers crossed.

So, for us dirty libs I think it can be said the night could have gone better but it was far from the disaster we feared three hours ago.

Margo Davidson won in Delco, her and her family are pure trash, it’s amazing the trash that gets elected from both parties

McBath down 160 votes in GA 6 with one precinct left that will give Handel a few more before a recount.

yes.
i am disappointed in some of the governor races and I was hoping to hold serve in the senate, but overall, this was a very good day for dems. I didn't mention in the previous post, but the economy is also good. It's kind of amazing we picked up so many seats.

Anyone know anything thing about iowa, Green, or Barron counties in WI? They will decide the governor race and they haven't reported at all.

Iowa and green both voted for clinton and barron voted for Trump.

This is going to be super close.

edit: less than 5k separating them. All other open counties are going walker. Nailbiter

Democracts will end up with about a 9 percent margin in the house popular vote (which will not be reflected in the actual amount of seats they have).

oh wow, there are another 50,000 ballots from milwaukee that are not part of the reported results. That would be enough, I imagine

Stacey abrams gave a hell of a speech about a half an hour ago, I’m sure it will get a lot of play tomorrow but was very inspiring. As a devoted contrarian who has no political affiliation, still got the emotions up

Trump just quoted Ben fucking Stein in a tweet

It looks like Rosen will beat Heller.

Evers beat Scott Walker.

This is something not being talked about enough.

Taniel @Taniel
A new Democratic trifecta: Dems gain control of the Nevada government by flipping the governorship, per @RalstonReports.

Dems' 6th new trifecta today (CO, IL, ME, NM, NY) on top of NJ & WA last year.

I think from the Dem POV the results were pretty encouraging especially overall turnout, the Florida ballot amendment also potentially a big deal for 2020 and beyond. the R side will try to point to OH and FL going more conservative tonight as positives for 2020

Dems need some prez candidates from farm system to develop ASAP, trump isn’t going anywhere and his barnstorming got the rednecks all fired up, I can’t take another 4 years of this shit. If dems run Warren or Biden or Bernie they’ll lose again

I also think both Gillum and abrams did well during this election and will have staying power as top prospects on dem side, they won’t be ready for 2020 tho
