President Trump and his supporters find community by rejoicing in the suffering of those they hate and fear.

A President can and should be removed for abuses of office. Once you finish this srticle, I think you will agree.

We cannot condone this behavior. This is The United States of America.

I hope you register, vote, and make sure everyone in your neighborhood and at your place of work is registered and has a ride to the polls, or an absentee ballot.

These Presidential abuses must stop.

I am volunteering, on a phone bank, and canvassing locally. This nascent fascist movement must be crushed.

We cannot take any race for granted. This is a break the glass and sound the alarm moment!

Probably not the white women. They’re still supporting all this BS

Kavanaugh is going to be confirmed, and I'm going to have to resist the urge to punch every Republican I meet in the face.

Kavanaugh is just such bad politics from the R side that I don't get it.

You know, Al Franken would've been on the Senate Judiciary committee if he didn't resign and people didn't pressure him to do that.

Holding to values is good.

Gamble versus the US or whatever it's called. They have to have Kavanaugh and it has to be now.

Lots of reporting about the Blue Wave being in trouble because of the threat of anyone, including your precious sons, having their life ruined by an unverified claim of sexual assault. What a scare tactic, but apparently working to some degree.

And the article? Grievance politics is almost all the GOP has left. They cater to two wings. The ultra rich get tax cuts. The rest get to say fuck the libs and their feelings. I hope it's an untenable coalition but it seems to be working out well for them so far.

Oh right, abortion. They all say they're pro-life because it's politically expedient. Well not all, but a lot.

if they have their way, abortion will only be for their mistresses, and they're willing to fly them to europe to get them.

Outside of those retiring (and even Flake isn't immune if he wants to run for President) and maybe Murkowski it is better politics for each individual senator to vote yes.

It's a weird situation where everyone would be better off if he went away and was replaced by a different nomination, but no one has the incentive to be the one to actually get blood on their hands from killing it.

Popular republicans in deeply R states could grow a conscience and probably suffer absolutely zero consequences. Maybe their primary would be a little tougher but if they're not up until 2022 it wouldn't matter at all. Hell, Pat Toomey could do it in a purple state and use it as a positive in 2022!
