Note that they have been blaming the Chinese over the past few weeks for meddling in our elections. They'll try to swing the spotlight from russia to China. So the grand conspiracy I thought might be happening wasn’t happening, as the more rational part of my brain kept trying to tell me.

My point slugs is that present is effectively the same as abstaining. Abstaining is not a no. I don't give a s*** what her colleague is doing, that's his problem. So she certainly not voting no unless you can convince me that present means no. Then go ahead and convince vote counters that present means no as well.

When the guy I was originally running against first won the seat, at its creation in 2002, the state Republican party spent $300,000 to get him in.
