The Manchin statement is interesting in that it offers a secondary exit path that he thinks he can sell to his constituents.

I also read him as being YES as a bad sign on the others.

Republicans were always going to confirm him because own the libs and enrich the wealthy is their only governing ethos. I mean it has been for a while but no one should have any illusions about it now.

If Manchin or any other Dem votes yes it’s because they’re convinced all the Pubs are going to vote that way.

The democrats spent too much time asking for an FBI investigation. It has been pretty clear for a while now that an FBI investigation is not happening. They needed to move on and ask other questions.

Agreed. Even Booker Harris didn't come as hard as they could have. Politics in America is horrid. Everything that was transparent and obvious to me, elicits the exact 180 degree opposite reaction in Trump's base.
