We actually had our rabbit cremated and have his ashes in a box on our cool stuff ledge.
This is the way to do it. Sadly, we have a whole shelf next to our family room TV that has boxes of ashes along with some kind of memento of each dog.mickbayne wrote:smitty wrote:Bucky wrote:I know it's the dad's job, but burying a pet is a sad, lonely, task and I hate it.

I think this is a great idea and it's probably what I'll do when my dog dies (ugh, hate to even think of that day).
Sorry for your loss, Bucky.

I think it's up to you to decide the stream of content you need to zap to your brain and where to find it, merging the digital and the organic. I go through intervals logging on and off, and right now i'm currently off. On one hand, it's not rotting energy off me, but on the other hand, I'm not reaping its inspirations. So I have to look elsewhere, you could interact more with ppl irl, cultivate something original for yourself, or find ways to share and gain here. I used to post my thoughts on bsg about videogames and movies a lot in the past, and I'd kinda like to do that more to fill any unfulfilled interactive voids I have. Social media isn't a negative game, it usually just comes down to user error, and we're all too flawed to keep playing. There's a comfortable balance in all things though. hope you find some peace

No. Social media is a broad public platform. BSG is too narrow and focused to meet that standard.

I used to be narrow and focused. I'm wide and unfocused now.
