Apolot if there is a healthcare thread, but the whole system is impossible to navigate.
Went to the doctor Friday. Told her what a specialist told me about my hands. She kept checking for carpral tunnel. I told her it's not those fingers. Oh, ok.
I said I was told to get a nerve conduction study. She told me to call this neurologist that specializes in sleep disorders. Ok.
They can't schedule me because my doctor needs to order it. Finally get in touch with my doctor's office today. They said oh we saw your message, we planned on getting back to you. The doctor will order the test you need today.
Called again just now because I hadn't heard all day and would like to schedule this thing. I was asked "Um, what test do you need again?" You're the fucking doctor. You tell me. Oh ok, sure we will get to that.

My family doctor back home would've just handed me a script for some percs and to come back in if I need more. Headache, flu, insomnia... didn't matter to him, you weren't leaving without some percs. Apparently after I left home a new doctor joined the practice and was shocked with everyone on percs and was cutting them off. nobody liked the new doc.
