Blankenship spent ~$2.7 mil on TV and got ~27,000 votes

That's not great ROI

How locked down is Mueller's team? Well they contacted Novartis in November about its dealings with Cohen.

yeah they're obviously going to be way ahead of us and it would not surprise me if the secret raid on cohen was heavily influenced by these rather than just stormy daniels.

very strange that the undoing of them might be their corruption combined with their absolute stupidity. hopefully.

Novartis official: Michael Cohen was 'promising access' after Trump election

So that means that Cohen was selling, but it also means that Novartis was buying.

President Donald Trump's personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, contacted the drug giant Novartis after the 2016 election "promising access" to the new administration, and Special Counsel Robert Mueller later requested information from the company about the offer, a senior official inside Novartis told NBC News on Wednesday.

"He [Cohen] contacted us after the new administration was in place," the official said. "He was promising access to the new administration." Novartis then signed a one-year, $1.2 million contract with Cohen.

For some reason I can't get a good link from my phone with this story, but it is fake News NBC. No wonder Don heat to them. Damn competence.

ATT also claims that they spoke with Mueller in November. He knows everything.

I caught NBC news saying that Novartis bailed on him when they realized that he could not deliver. There was no evidence that he could except for a promise of corruption.

Good deal that we got our folks home, including the people kidnapped by NK during the Trump administration. It is truly great to have them home. Now what will the ask be? The first move in the direct negotiations. With a 50 year investment in becoming a nuclear power it seems unlikely that there is interest in giving that up.

Add to this the problem that there is complexity of the show of bringing people home with placing a value to our adversaries of snagging citizens. It is lucrative because you can get the potus involved, and engaged in various media channels. There might be more US citizens in NK that were not returned.

Way back in October 2016 when Don was talking about Clinton and 'pay to play', and how it involved Morocco...

It's hard to keep up, but fast forward to near real time and we are dealing with Cohen working a pay-to-play scheme, and Cabinet member Scott Pruitt wrapped up in an extremely questionable Morocco trip. Just unreal. Maybe we should go back and assess all campaign insanity as tipping Donald's plans for the future.

Vicky Toensing wiped away Cohen as just some guy who is making money like James Carville. But she is not going to talk about that. CNN put up something from that Russian Company website, and she dismissed it. She said she is not there to discuss it.

She wants to talk about the fact that a President cannot be indited, so there is no reason for Trump to comply with a subpoena. Mueller's grand jury is illegally using its power to go after the President, and that is illegal and abusive. Ken Starr was exempted via law, but Mueller is an executive branch employee.

oh yeah!!!:
Mecklenburg County Sheriff Irwin Carmichael was defeated soundly on Tuesday, taking just 20 percent of the vote. No Republican is running, so by winning the Democratic primary, former police detective Garry McFadden was in effect elected sheriff. "287(g) is going to be history in Charlotte-Mecklenburg," McFadden declared on election night.

It's a template that could be imitated elsewhere, with progressive voters in increasingly liberal metropolitan areas demanding that sheriffs refuse to cooperate with ICE or the Trump administration in general. "Sheriff Carmichael's massive defeat in Mecklenburg Cty NC sends a strong message to local law enforcement nationwide," tweeted Mark Mellman, a prominent Democratic consultant and pollster. "Cooperate with Trump's deportation squad and voters will punish you."

The American Civil Liberties Union spent $175,000 on the Mecklenburg race, marking the first time the group had run a voter education campaign in a sheriff's election. It won't be the last.

i don't get why Mitch McConnell is so disliked by Republicans. First, the ability of the Senate Majority leader to get things done is nothing like the power of the Speaker of the House. Second, what hasn't McConnell done for Trump and the Republicans? Yes, I know he's a slimy worm, but since when is that a liability among Republicans? He's an effective slimy worm who has basically played a 1 vote majority like a virtuoso.
