I was waiting in long lines at Nats park like they had no idea that it was opening day and people were coming to the park (40 minutes to get in the season ticket holder line), so I gladly missed the Trump Show. Saw the copters go over to get him, then come back, then over to JBAB to pick his ass up again. Must have been pretty short.

Local radio says it was CRAZY. Went rape bananas about Mexicans, and any other latino. Super rapist, like no one has ever raped again. WTseriousF?

I have a visceral reaction every time I hear the Trump rape sound bite.

I am not old enough to remember it, but I know that the rapist stuff is a throw back to a more racist time when it was routinely pasted on africian americans. I know in the land of backward though where I spent most of my youth that young women were warned as much, and since there was a grand total of one black guy in the whole school system, it was fear of the outside world from the twin megalopolises of Reading and Lancaster pressing down on rural america.

The March jobs report is out and it’s a miss. In March, the economy added 103,000 jobs while the unemployment rate held steady at 4.1% for the sixth-straight month, according to the latest data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Economists had expected the report to show 185,000 jobs were created in March while the unemployment rate was expected to fall to 4%, according to estimates from Bloomberg. March’s report is also a big slowdown from February and represented the fewest jobs created in six months.

Pruitt was a bad tenant, at $50/night, often failing to pay his "rent".

An EPA ethics official clarified later Wednesday that he had concluded only that the $50-per-night lease did not constitute an improper gift but did not investigate whether Pruitt’s arrangement ran afoul of other ethics rules.

Asked by Fox whether renting a room from a Washington lobbyist was inconsistent with Trump’s promise to drain the swamp, Pruitt replied: “I don’t even think that that’s even remotely fair to ask that question.”

I would wonder about the "gift" question, but maybe gift is a clearly wrong filter because it absolutely is below market.

That is so stupid. His denial of procedure over him not getting his way is unreal. They failed spectacularly twice by being told it was not a federal issue. since it is bound in the state constitution, it should be iron clad. Is this just ceremonial, or is this a drive to change the state constitution to remove the judiciary from the process?

How much national assistance is this getting? the stakes are high, PA's is a big part of the problem for the GOP as the realignment has 13 status changes in Cook's analysis of election outcomes. Its not a blue Wave/Free Pass, but the changes are overall negative nationally for the GOP.
