One of North Korea's major goals of the past 30 years has been to get a direct meeting with the POTUS, thus elevating NK's leadership in its own eyes.

there's never been a president that has acquiesced.The US has obviously held multilateral talks but this would be something entirely different.

And Putin is not a goddamn genius commanding some giant country that is in a restart of a Cold War. Can we please stop with this notion? They are sowing division because they are NOT strong and NOT doing well and the leadership has hated the expansion of NATO and their shrinking power on the world stage. Russia's become a rightwing petrol oligarchy with an insane level of inequality so he has been using social demagoguery and world affairs to shore up support at home.

Our country is apparently led by insecure idiots (especially at the very top) so we don't want to defend our electoral process from outside meddling but would rather attack it by making it harder for our own citizens to participate in said process. But Russia is not engaging in some damn overthrow of our nation, or using North Korea as a puppet, or whatever. Kim is an irrational actor acting rationally; rogue nations that have voluntarily given up their nuclear programs (Iraq, Libya) have been overthrown..by us. Iran has as well, and there's a section of our country that would want to overthrow them. Kim doesn't need fucking Putin to tell him what to do.

If you think Putin isn't involved in this on one side or the other or both, then I think you're a bit naive. I have no doubt one or both sides also think it's a good idea, but come on. Putin is neck deep in both regimes.

they are not mutually exclusive.

NK could want a meeting AND Putin could be pressuring NK or Trump to a meeting to create more chaos in the US. Trump's supporters will see the meeting as a win once NK makes some concession

And Putin may or may not be a genius, but he has somehow increased Russia's influence through soft power while his country is not doing well. He's affecting the electoral processes of many of the world's most important democracies, he's gotten back Crimea, and he's made Russia much more relevant than their financial situation would normally allow. Not a genius? Fine, then let's just call him savvy.

On November 15, Trump and Putin met with the topic being NK. This followed a meeting of Putin and NK last July, the first meeting between the two countries in years and giving NK some additional standing. NK desperately needs Russian help. If anyone wants to believe there is no Russian influence involved in the US meeting with NK, that's fine, but it's hardly absurd to think there is. NK and Russia would certainly benefit from such a meeting. And Trump is a russian cuck who is desperate for a win to sell to his base. It's not really a win, but his base is too stupid to know otherwise once he tells them he's done what no other president has done.

Earlier last week a teacher is suspended in west-central Florida for hosting a white is right pod cast for spending abundant time espousing such quality though that non-whites have genetically low IQs, so the least racist president EVER goes with Maxine Waters, an African American representative from Florida, as low IQ.
