Buttons for Buffoons - POLITICS

Apparently there was a CNN shouting match where Mercedes Schlapp's husband said that the only affairs of concern are when it occurs on the governments dime (Bill in the WH), and the CNN host challenged this flexible moral stance. The third person in the ring said she would take some popcorn and watch this all day long. Bottom line is that conservatives and evangelicals have put marital fidelity, and morality on the shelf until they need it next (when they are out of power).

Wow, Tony Perkins gives Trump a free pass on any of his indiscretions and behaviors as long as they get the policy they want. It's pretty amazing to hear that straight up, but even more so because he does two things: he talks about what a horrible human Obama is and how he was kicking around the religious right, and then just reading between the lines you can see him standing there shaking hands with the Devil making his pledge. It's really disgustingly astounding.

well the president wants it to happen and the GOP is a party of bootlickers so.....

Or should I say the grand dragon, stephen miller, wants it to happen.

You're the guy supporting what is pretty much an evil group of people doing a lot of evil things that you support. So you look a hell of a lot worse than I do. Keep that in mind when you're throwing around the sarcasm and/or personal shots. Or you can just do you and we can judge you based on that. Your choice.

It would completely make the govt cease to function, which is pretty much what the GOP wants. But I agree that it's highly unlikely.

You float a nonsense idea, assert the GOP licks Trump's boots, point out he is demanding a change, but you agree that they're highly unlikely to act on his request.

I guess you don't know what the word maybe means. Maybe can be much less than 50%. It's also not a nonsense idea when you have people trying to tear down our institutions like the GOP has been doing. It sure seems like anything is in play, even if unlikely.

I get that you want to point out that you think I'm stupid every chance you get, but you are the one thinking trickle down economics works, so you look either really stupid or willfully ignorant. At this point, someone would have to be one of those two things to believe that stuff works. You just think poor people should suffer. Like I said, you look a lot worse than I do. I mean, this is your chosen livelihood. I'm just a science teacher throwing out thoughts here and there. Maybe I'm naive about some of this stuff, but at least I care about others.

Oh, and the GOP has been a bunch of bootlickers. Or do we need to review the meeting of pence and others kissing Trump's wannabe dictator ass?
