Buttons for Buffoons - POLITICS

Scott Perry is everywhere talking about everything over the last few days. Here is a fine example of his special PA flavor of crazy!

A Republican member of Congress on Thursday night claimed the Islamic State terror group was behind the Las Vegas massacre of 58 people in October. “I smell a rat, like a lot of Americans. Nothing’s adding up,” Rep. Scott Perry (R-PA) told Fox News’ Tucker Carlson. Claiming to have what he “believes” is “credible evidence,” Perry cast doubt on investigators’ assertions that Stephen Paddock was the lone gunman in the attack and suggested a “terrorist nexus” was involved. He claimed to personally have information about “terrorist infiltration through the southern border.” “Let’s face it, ISIS, twice before the attack, warned the U.S. they would attack Las Vegas… and then after the attack claimed responsibility four times. Meanwhile, the local law-enforcement investigative services are telling us there is no terrorist connection.” When pressed to provide more details on what “evidence” he has to support this theory, Perry said he was “not able” to reveal anything.

Any chance he is test driving his own conspiracy theory show? Joining Alex Jones perhaps?

I mean there was impeachment hearings for Clinton over sexual harassment (1991 - while he was Governor of Arkansas) and abuse of power. Many Republicans were apoplectic over Bill's behavior (it is disgusting). How is Trump's pattern of behavior less then Bill's? If anything it is significantly greater, including paying hush money. Then there is the everything else.

As I said when I was bottom paged, utterly indefensible, yet being defended by women in quantity.

Not to be pedantic, but the impeachment hearings were for perjury--lying about sex, not the sex itself. And I think the sex which he lied about was the Monica Lewinsky sex. You're right that the initial impetus for the investigation was the Whitewater real estate deal, but the scope of the investigation over the years metastasized. And took over 6 years before it got to that point.

@realDonaldTrump
Government Funding Bill past last night in the House of Representatives. Now Democrats are needed if it is to pass in the Senate - but they want illegal immigration and weak borders. Shutdown coming? We need more Republican victories in 2018!

Graham called Cotton the Steve King of the Senate. That's pretty tough to say about a colleague (since Steve King is the most openly racist member of Congress).

If you ever read Stephen King's The Deadzone, there's a scene where the protagonist meets a politician and because of his ESP, realizes the politician is evil. I don't have ESP, but I had the same reaction when I met Cotton. He has the clammiest hand shake I've ever experienced.

Trump REALLY does not want to be in town tomorrow for the Women's March.

Keep in mind, ideologically I don't think he GAF about any of these issues so he may very well be open to a deal with Chuck. This will allow him to take credit for keeping the govt open.

Greenville, SC is having its moment. Stormy Daniels is making an appearance at a strip club this weekend.

If you wonder about the $130K seeming a little low for hush money, I guess she could return the money and take a better offer. Imagine the goo fund me campaign.
