Vice President Mike Pence and his family live with two cats, a rabbit and a snake (no confirmation if this is Mother's pet name for Mike, or if it some weird reminder of original sin) at their official residence on the grounds of the U.S. Naval Observatory in Washington.

That makes them "low-class," according to his boss (Trump), who said he was "embarrassed" by the menagerie, and who labeled the Pences "yokels," according to The Atlantic.


Don is pretty much a dick to everyone, he just keeps it a little more quiet about people who come bearing money.

Hey '98 was when the "car tax" was repealed. 5 years for it to go away, I think. It only cost me about ~$1500 last year... 19 years later, and 14 years after it was supposed to perish. That thing was a real back breaker when I moved to VA (4.57% of the value of the car, a total shock when you bought a new car, then quickly ended up paying the additional tax on the value). Now I think we are somewhere around 50% of 4.57% of Blue Book every year. It still sucks.

fun fact: I looked up where that tax came from and the answer is the 1782 tangible personal property tax (just looked it up again to find the date).

Pence is an amazing brown noser. His speaking part at the cabinet meeting roughly equates to an act of sodomy under several antiquated state laws. His willingness to bend the knee to a level far past pandering is impressively disgusting.

Sadly I wanted a visual of Mike with a brownose, but I found know. Upside I found that he wished Garfield the Cat Happy Birthday on the Senate floor back in the day...

Did Ben open with a prayer where he requested that people are more grateful for the gift they are being give? I am not sure what I heard, or the context, or even if it was Carson, but that sounded like the jist of it.

Related question, why were people thinking that Trump might release tax returns today? I guess I should say his, as he might have release clintons that someone pulled from the campaign to show that they are filthy rich and deserve your scorn.
