I think its been 4 thread generations where we are trading on this theme. Cruz wins big if Moore is elected. Since Cruz stumped for him, what is his opinion of this #$!&@ show now?

"These are serious and troubling allegations," Cruz said in a statement. "If they are true, Judge Moore should immediately withdraw. However, we need to know the truth, and Judge Moore has the right to respond to these accusations."

Meanwhile back at possibly the literal ranch, Democratic challenger Rep. Beto O'Rourke blasted Cruz in a fundraising email for supporting Roy Moore.

He did response, Senator Cruz, and instead of denying the accusations, he left a hole through which you could drive a truck.

I am admittedly a simple man but it seems like if you didn't do something, particularly of this magnitude, you would just say that you didn't do it. I feel like the correct response would be "No, I absolutely never sexually assaulted anyone, let alone a 14-year old girl" not "Well, dating a 14-year old would not be my customary behavior" or "No, I did not generally date teenagers". Those responses are essentially "its possible" and if its possible that Moore tried to get with a 14-year old that should be all anybody needs to know in terms of his political career.

The governor of Alabama prefers she as her pronoun. Thought liberals were big on respecting people's gender identity.

“The relationship appears to be very warm and very friendly,” Duterte spokesman Harry Roque told reporters Monday. “They’ve been very candid in their dealings, and it’s very apparent that both of them have a person who they consider as not their best friend. They have similar feelings toward former U.S. President Barack Obama.”

I don't want Duterte's spin anywhere near US politics and I especially do not want Duterte's assistant, Harry Roque, the "selfie king" to have any damn say in anything.

I only went so far as to Google her last name as to not just put the Governor. I'm a part of the patriarchy and I'm glad you called me out on my mistake.

from the weekly update from my Congressperson Lloyd Smucker:
Chris Buck is a government and economics teacher in northern Lancaster County. He’s the father of four young children and he thinks about tax reform through the lens of a father and a husband. He’s excited that tax reform means a bigger child tax credit, and a simplified filing process means more time to spend with his family.

Cinthia Kettering runs a successful insurance brokerage firm in Lancaster. She would love to pay her employees more, but the burdensome federal tax code and high rates often prevent her from awarding those raises. Tax reform allows her to reinvest in her employees and grow her company.

Travis Eby and his brother Nick own and operate M.H. Eby in eastern Lancaster County, which manufactures truck bodies for commercial and agricultural markets and was founded by their grandfather in 1938. When asked what he would do with tax savings as a result of our tax reform plan, Travis said, “We would continue to invest in our employees.”

Tom Duff is the CEO of Mount Joy Wire — a leader in manufacturing wire for aerospace, automotive, medical and many other applications. Tom wants to better compete with foreign competitors. Tax reform will help make his Pennsylvania workers, who pride themselves on “Made in the USA,” more competitive in an increasingly global economy.

the burdensome regulations and corporate tax rate makes it so that they can't pay their workers more! That's it!

Cocalico representing! If he has a few more kids he can make the big bucks. So glad he is a social studies teacher who has problems running Turbo Tax so that he can pass on these many great days to his progeny, as well as his student. Remember these days (Golden) Eagles!

really pathetic and anti-democratic if he did that. he set the date; stick to it. it's not the fault of the Democratic candidate in it that the GOP voters picked a pedophile.

Gov. Ivey already stated she wouldn't change the date. Obvious caveat that she's a politician, but yea.

Voting has already started. She'd get sued, for certain. I don't know the AL code section to assess whether they'd win, but damn that'd be an UGLY look.

Right which is why not many people are pushing for a delay outside of people like Hugh Huwitt.

Diving further into the VA results, Northam carried 24 out of the 40 State Senate districts last week. The Senate comes up for reelection in 2019 and currently stands 21-19 GOP (with a possible tiebreaking vote being held by the Dem LG).
