the reason we are in Niger and other countries is ostensibly to prevent ISIS from gaining a stronghold and they've changed philosophy to allow independent authority for the Pentagon to do raids and such against ISIS. trump likely doesn't even read or listen to the daily briefing on the topic.

Obama likely would've been consulted, weighed the pros and cons, gotten a couple viewpoints, then made a decision. whether it was the right one, who knows, but he'd then own it. none of that happens under Trump. from reports the military is pretty much independent and running how it wants to run without much executive oversight.

I think I am unreliable because I took the memory thing so offensively that I checked out it would seem, but I also would be recorded as missing that dodge in accountability. He clearly said that he is following, not leading in military matters, so maybe. The strategy he outline (second time today really for the first part), is that 'we beat ISIS', and now we are meeting them where they are fleeing to.

Clearly he knows nothing if he is declaring victory. One of his yapping dogs also said that, maybe old minister of misinformation and propaganda Sarah spewed that fourth.

When Donald is talking about how smart he is, and how he has the best people, I''d like to offer the reminder that they could not figure out how to work the lights at the White House for more then a little while.

The Associated Press reported Wednesday that the Pennsylvania Department of State's Jonathan Marks reported to a state House committee that his office found 544 ballots cast illegally out of 93 million during the past 18 years.

That is pretty close to a 0.0006% clip. Point is that it happened. That is since 2000.

What was illegal about them? Did they count in the tally for those elections?

Tomi Lahren don't think that NFL players know 'what exactly are you (they) kneeling for?' She thinks that if she asked 100 players that she would get 100 completely different answers, if she got an answer at all (smells like she thinks that might be dumb).

It seems like the thread, including your post, has reached a consensus that lying does not matter when Democrats do it. But I'm the hack, so it's all good.

I certainly never said that lying was ok. I just think that the content and truth of the dossier is a more salient point. Much of it has already been backed up and some GOP campaign got it started. I think it was dumb of Clinton to lie about it, but that is her way of handling things. This is why I thought she was a bad candidate and said so very early in the primary. She's now a historical footnote. But I think we've spent enough time hunting down Clinton scandals. It's been 30 years. It's time for you guys to let go of your boogeyman and focus on stopping the monstrosity in the WH. I realize you're hoping he can hang on long enough for you guys to squeeze out a tax bill that will really screw poor and middle class people, but maybe it's time to stop with the dems-do-it-too line and do something to help?

That crap makes me legit mad. If they were parroting the same statement, she'd call them brainless. But if they engage in a similar/same protest for various personal reasons, they're dumb.
