Monkeyboy wrote:So our neighbor (right across the hall) came by on Wednesday night and asked if she could borrow an apple phone charger because she left hers at work. She asked if she could have it for just 10 minutes. She kept saying that, "Just 10 minutes." I told her that she should keep it long enough to fully charge the phone because we wouldn't need it in the next hour or so. She thanked me and reiterated that she only would keep it for 10 minutes and then she would leave it in my daughter's shoe, which was just outside the door.

She still hasn't returned it.

So now I'm replaying the conversation in my head and she was acting really weird about it. I chalked it up to nerves at the time, but now that she hasn't returned it, I kinda wonder what's going on. Maybe she just forgot, but it seems like a strange thing to forget.

But was she balding or was her hair turning gray?

These are all good ideas. I think she just asked for something that would allow her to get my fingerprints. I assume he wanted them to manufacture fake hands with my fingerprints which she would then use to steal priceless works of art. I'll get blamed and she'll spend the rest of her days on a beach in Bali.

My dad at 81 years old has almost all his hair, and it's still not grey. It's almost freakish. So far, I'm following the same pattern.

Sounds like she's already starting to assume your gender. Your identity is next.

She/he can have my identity, if she/he wants it.

After you charge up, you should ask her for your charger back as well.

Heroic rodents aside, I'll just knock on her door tonight. Seems like a weird thing to just forget, so I'm curious what happened.

She may have had trouble fitting it in right. Sometimes that's the case when things are new, and you have to turn it over few times before inserting. Ask if you can help.
