i have this cool case for my plantronics bluetooth thing for about 4 years now. It has a battery in it itself, so you put the thing in it and it charges the headset even if it's not plugged in. And it's great to shove in your pocket without worrying about damaging the earpiece. So the past week or so it's been siting on my desk and not charging either of my headsets. Oh well, better spend 20 bucks on another one. Just got the notice that my replacement has shipped, so I think well let's throw the old one out. When I grabbed it I noticed the other end of the USB cable wasn't plugged in. That's why it wasn't charging.

anyone ever get treatment for thinning hair/balding?

the hair around my scalp is getting pretty thin. i think it is getting larger? hard to tell because i can't see the top of my head closely.

I have been cutting my hair with a size 1 trimmer. Next step is bic razor. Embrace it.

Edit: You'll know when it needs to happen. Perhaps ask a friend for advice. When I saw myself in pictures, from an angle slightly above my head, I realized I needed to make a change.

mine's definitely thinning around the top of the scalp but it's so thick in front of that that it's kind of hard to see. not terrible yet and the tide seems to have stemmed for a time but it's a losing battle and it is clearly thinner than it was a few years ago. i hope i have the strength to embrace it when it comes to that point.

this morning i was set up my uber to take me to the airport, then decided i'd tidy up and take out the trash before the car came. i bent over to get the trash, stood up and didn't realize that the cabinet door was opened and got a nice gash on my forehead. it stopped bleeding right before i got in the car so that's good, but so far 3 people at the airport asked me about it

There's a pill called propecia but it's hair vs. erection. IMO erection>hair but once again, that's just my opinion.

Probably got a couple of decent years left, have fun... now in three to four, it's going to be a different story.

speaking of uber, and lyft -- is it their policy all of a sudden to say "where we goin?" even though it's in their system? had that happen five or six times in a row

I somehow have dodged the near genetic certainty that I would be bald in my mid 20s. Hair line is fucked though, probably the only reason I don't grow my hair back out.

It has been in the last couple years that I started using a trimmer set to 1 because of the size of the male pattern baldness. I added a full beard for a little while which was a good look for me.

In the winter, I let it go longer...I set the trimmer at 2 because that is how I roll (and my head gets cold).

obviously this is Calvin's decision and I don't know what it's like to not have luscious, thick (grey) hair but if I did, I would definitely take hair over an iPhone X
