It’s Europe, there’s is a much more lax attitude towards baring ones feet there, it’s not just common, but good manners to leave your shoes about so that others can walk a mile, or as they say “kilometer” (lol) in them and then leave you gifts! So really the actual travesty here, is that MB’s neighbor regifted the charger. This is an enormous social faux pas and proper etiquette on MBs part at this point is to take her mail for the next week and claim it as his own.
