I got really frustrated with the scouts here. Which was difficult because the woman running things, and my kid's troop leader was/is the mom of my son's bet friend (she and I are friendly but not friends). No interest from other parents in getting involved. They considered holding the sleepover -- just for the achievement -- in one of our backyards. It was all about whose parent sold the most popcorn and how many badges your kid got when the troop lead stood u at the meeting and made announcements. My kid loved Pinewood Derby, we made some cool cars. Miss that.

Some jag off hit my parked car and destroyed my front bumper. Took off like nothing happened. Thankfully a witness got the plates, make/model and description of the driver. Never had to deal with insurance or adjusters before. It was a nice 16 year run. Hamilton NJT parking garage is a complete mess so figured it was a matter of time. Already had scuff marks from people cutting the wheel too hard coming out of parking spots. Driving ain't that hard people.

The good thing about Wawa not charging for air to fill up your tires is that they don't charge you for it. The bad thing is that every time I go there for that purpose there's a line of people so I just end up going somewhere else and paying like a chump.

Also, I think there's a huge difference between Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. I'm not sure about today, but it seemed to me that back in the 70s, other than the pinewood derby, there really wasn't much to Cub Scouts. Lots of fun stuff though with Boy Scouts.

But no matter what, the quality depends on getting a strong adult leader or two, and enough parents willing to help out, especially for weekend camping and backpacking trips.

was waiting behind a guy about a month ago. man, did he hate them.

think he said these thing fucking suck to me over 10 times in the span of three or four minutes.

definitely were confusing at first, but pretty simple once you know what to do.

I spent 20 or 30 bucks at walmart and got one of these.

It also has a dial on the pressure gauge to turn it off automatically. I keep it in my truck along with a puncture repair kit in case I pick up a nail or similar

one of the ladies i sit next to at work had a seizure, hit her head on the back of her desk due to them testing the damn fire alarm (flashing lights). she only got a pulse by the paramedics when they carted her out. two people were performing CPR on her. she was completely purple in the face. the only thing i could think to do besides pull her out from under her desk before they gave her CPR was to prop the doors for the paramedics. goddamn

she's at the ER now; no updates. i havent ever seen anyone that purple

she went into cardiac arrest

she's on a ventilator now and they are letting her body cool down, whatever that means.

In 2002, when I was a MH Therapist in a middle school Special Education classroom in the Poconos, we had a kid with a seizure disorder.. they used to tell us before the alarm went off so I could take him out in the parking lot and sit in a car with the windows up until the alarm was through... there should be some protocol to know if anyone in a building has a seizure disorder prior to testing
Even if you get run over by a clown car and pissed on by a busload of school children, it's still your responsibility to interpret the meaning of the event and choose a response
