I got a package from Amazon today addressed to the former owner of the property. How much of an effort should I make with Amazon before opening it? I'm chatting with customer support right but if it doesn't go well...

Upon closer inspection, the package was definitely opened and re-taped. See you guys on the other side.

I think more ppl could luck into a homer. Dunking is physically impossible for most

Let's say in one round of BP so you're getting like 10 or 15 swings before you're tiring out. a home run with a wooden bat is really far. and a lot of people at the upper end of the height scale can dunk.

theres basically two curves. one very small exponential decay and one very small flatish line. which integral is greater?

I'd go homer, because I think you can "run into one" but with a dunk, you can jump that high, or you can't. A nearly 43 year old bartolo colon hit a HR, he pitched most of his career in the AL, so his ABs were limited, he was not taking BP all those years trying to get that first dinger. He is not in good shape, he does play baseball for a living but I think you could argue that his specialization in pitching takes away a huge chunk of that advantage and he did it at 43! You can't tell me beer league softball players in their 20's and 30's who are likely taking more swings a summer than Bartolo would be able to luck into a bomb here or there on a batting practice meatball?

gonna go with homer. i will never ever ever be able to dunk a basketball but i'd get a homer 1 outta 10k tries.

yeah and i get that but i think hitting a baseball 330 feet with a wooden bat is harder than people give it credit for. playing baseball your whole life, 43 year old fat dude or not sure helps. and that was a rare occurrence. i guess im also assuming that everyone over like 6'4" should be able to dunk a damn basketball. a travesty if they waste their physical gifts.

as a 5'8" 145ish dude, i am not doing either any time soon.

well yeah but i mean in like one BP session. if it's like 'luck into it ever', yeah sure it'll be homer.

I've hit home runs (in batting practice with an aluminum bat). It's not out of the realm of possibility I could do it with a wooden bat. At 5'8", I've never dunked and never will.
