I don't remember who tweeted it, but someone today said the saddest part of Trump's tweets is genuinely all he wants is Joe and Mika's approval and for them to think he's doing a good job as president.

Interestingly, if the premise is that these were words said as a promise during the campaign, is that not the same line of logic that holds up the "travel ban"? also the Trump campaign (not the WH) responded that Smith was not working for the campaign and if he had coordinated with Flynn that Flynn was doing it as a private citizen, lol
