I think you're right, and the difficulty with that is it indicts so many who you'd otherwise look to as reliable sources of R leadership. Because how could you believe any of this, of a guy who's been like this for decades, unless you're 1) a fool 2) have even less interest in the welfare of the USA than he does, 3) 1) and 2)

4) you thought that he'd be a stooge quietly allowing congress and senate to do whatever it pleased.

Health treatment as a share of GDP has risen for a long, long time, well before ACA. A good-sized share of that increase is not warranted by the quality of America's health that has accompanied it. Congress needs to take action to fix that. YOUR GOD-DAMNED MASSIVE TAX CUT FOR THE 0.1% DOESN'T FIX THAT. Let's talk about THAT, shall we?

His fact is a mathematical truism, and it's silly to argue against it. "In perpetuity" is a long time.
