Part of bringing jobs back is reworking ways to collect the "internet tax". Thus far the winning plan is to refurbish 'magic finger' coin boxes so you can pay you tax by the minute, so you are not paying internet tax for internet you are not using or don't want, with the added bonus of a representative of the government being allowed to inspect your internet consumption setting to assure your legislated propriety.

My disabled neighbor can't afford colostomy bags, my coworker at work lives in his car because he makes less than $10/hr, but yeah, thank God you can buy 800 different varieties of toilet paper at walmart

Just to spell this out more. Donald Trump, the President of the United States, the head executive who has power to enact quasi-legal revenge if he wants to, is threatening a newspaper owner for publishing a story he doesn't like.

It's par for the course in the erosion of Democratic norms.

All I can say is it's rich that Trump is railing against anyone for not paying taxes.

I'll point out that Kansas is currently a crap show as far as the US goes and we have a party that wants that to go national. Perhaps sticking w states/nations w comparable populations and/or situations makes more sense than trying to compare US to Venezuela (or to Sweden).
