site's not very clear about what I do if I don't live in one of the 10 states. The My State Isn't On This List stuff is pretty generic.

I'm going to call Toomey, but anyone who thinks he is swayable is insane. He won narrowly both runs for Senate, but he doesn't moderate his views to reflect this. He is an asshat and a horrible representative for Pennsylvania.

Republican Sen. Pat Toomey said Tuesday called the investigation into possible collusion between members of Donald Trump's presidential campaign and Russia "overblown" and said he isn't paying much attention to it.


Wasn't Toomey an okay guy at one point? Or am I thinking of someone else?

Bob Casey has historically been thought of as a moderate Democrat; this popular Governor father wasn't allowed to speak at the 92 convention and he couldn't advance in the Democratic Party past Gov despite being popular due to his abortion stance. Casey Jr unseated sitting Senator Rick Santorum by double-digits in what was thought of as a big coup for the Democrats.

He's shifted on some corporate issues, kept true to his personal abortion views while fighting for Planned Parenthood and such, and focused on medical access/dignity of work/dignity of life for all concerns (why he cares about refugees, for example). he's essentially used catholic social teaching as his driving force as a Senator, compassion for others and economic justice. If he were to lose his re-election effort in 2018 I wouldn't even know what to think about Pennsylvania as a state after this past election.

Perhaps you're thinking of mild-mannered Boring Bob? He's personally one of my favorite Senators, if you can tell, despite some of our differences.

this is mildly confusing-- sessions justs keeps saying i dont remember to pretty specific meetings. i mean there are photos of some of these things with the two of them together.
