I don't get this because even a good chunk of Trump supporters are supportive of local marijuana laws.

Call; if you're in one of these states it's especially important. Thanks Casey; scold Toomey, give your story, etc. Have a reason to call, and call.

site's not very clear about what I do if I don't live in one of the 10 states. The My State Isn't On This List stuff is pretty generic.

contact your legislators that support it and say thanks and also push them on what they're doing to stop it; what they'd propose

I'm going to call Toomey, but anyone who thinks he is swayable is insane. He won narrowly both runs for Senate, but he doesn't moderate his views to reflect this. He is an asshole and a horrible representative for Pennsylvania.

Trump and the Religious Right marriage, the feeling of persecution binds them together:
“We’re under siege. You understand that,” the president said. “But we will come out bigger and better and stronger than ever.”

“The most politically incorrect thing to do these days is talk about Christianity,” says Steve Scheffler, president of Faith and Freedom Coalition’s Iowa chapter and a prominent grassroots player in Trump’s victory there last fall. “Religion has been under siege for a long time. And I don’t want to sound like an alarmist, but if Hillary Clinton had won, religious liberty in America would basically be finished because of her appointments to the courts.”

The Rev. Richard Lee said as much in his benediction Saturday night. “Father, we pray for our president today. Thank you, Lord, that you’ve given us a man who will stand for right, a man who will stand for truth,” Lee said. “Father, he is under attack, which is to be expected.”

Yeah there is zero chance imo that he doesn't fall into line with a ACHA vote. He's like our very own Paul Ryan

Yeah I'd argue if you only call one Senator (I know this is not necessarily a real choice), call Casey and ask that they use whatever procedural hurdles they possibly can to slow it down as much as possible to allow for more public discourse.

Republican Sen. Pat Toomey said Tuesday called the investigation into possible collusion between members of Donald Trump's presidential campaign and Russia "overblown" and said he isn't paying much attention to it.

Wasn't Toomey an okay guy at one point? Or am I thinking of someone else?
